Lindsey Knox

Why I am a Physical/Occupational Therapist: I became a physical therapist because of the unique relationship I am able to build with each patient throughout his or her rehabilitation. I enjoy not only being a physical therapist to help improve patients’ physical condition but also to gain a good rapport and trust.

Cont Ed commitment: I am committed to continuing my education and growing as a physical therapist. After completing a two year program that specialized in manual therapy, I received my COMT, certified orthopedic manual therapist. I have also taken numerous courses involving Kinesio Tape, which allowed me to become a certified Kinesio Taping Practitioner.

Personal interests: In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family and staying physically active with yoga and hiking.

Educational background: I have received a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Shenandoah University, a private college in Virginia and also hold a B.S. in Biology from the University of Idaho where I was a Division I scholarship athlete. I am currently enrolled in Seattle Pacific University’s MBA program and will complete this degree over the next few years.
