Why I am a Physical/Occupational Therapist:
I have always been fascinated with how the body functions to create even the simplest of motions. I also have a strong commitment to making the world a better place, one experience at a time. Physical Therapy combines the science of movement with improving the lives of our patients. It seemed like a perfect fit.
Continuing Education Commitment:
I earned my Master of Physical Therapy degree in 1998. Since that time I have strived to take as many continuing education courses as possible. I believe that this benefits my patients as I learn new and better techniques with each class. I have earned other certifications, as well. I am recognized by the American Physical Therapy Association as an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) and a Certified Clinical Instructor (CCI). I am also a Credentialed Ergonomics Assessment Specialist (CEAS). I am currently enrolled in an advanced manual therapy program and when this is completed, I will be a Certified Orthopedic Manual Therapist (COMT).
I am a devoted father and love spending time with my daughter. I enjoy hiking, camping, and anything we can do outdoors. I also enjoy cooking, especially if it is for someone else.
I graduated from Washington State University in 1994 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology and from Idaho State University in 1998 with a Master of Physical Therapy Degree.
